Run the night shift. It takes ten minutes.
The jam build is a playable slice of the first night: the queue, the bar rush, the cellar, the salt mine and dawn. It is on our itch.io page as a Windows download, and the browser build we submitted stays there as it was.

Before you start
Four tips for a better night.
Use headphones
The sound tells you where you are: bass through a wall, silence in the mine.
Watch the patience colours
They show which customer is about to leave. Serve those first.
The drop is your breath
When the whole floor dances, the bar goes quiet. Restock and clean.
You can always step back
In the mine, retreating is a choice, not a failure.
Requirements
What you need.
Browser build (jam entry)
Not updated since the submission. A current desktop browser with WebGL 2 (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari), sound on and a keyboard. The first load downloads about 40 MB. Some audio effects are missing there. Phones and tablets are not supported.
On Windows
Download the .7z from itch.io, unpack it (Windows 11 opens it directly, otherwise use 7-Zip) and run Nachtclub.exe.
Light sensitivity: the drop has one short flash and a laser sweep. We keep flashes brief and rare. Found a bug? Tell us at [email protected] with your browser and what happened.
FAQ
Before you go down.
The jam build is a free, playable slice of the first night. It is a Windows download on our itch.io page, and the browser build we submitted is still there as it was. Act 1 and the full game are still in development.
One night is about 8 to 10 minutes: the street, the club and its bar rush, the cellar, the salt mine, then dawn. The ending returns you to the title so you can go again.
Windows PC. From now on we only build for Windows. The browser build from our jam entry stays on itch.io as submitted, with some audio effects missing. Consoles are a hope, not a plan.
Full gamepad support is a goal for the full game. The jam build is played with keyboard: WASD or arrows to move, E to interact.
The drop has one short flash and a laser sweep. We keep flashes brief and rare because of light sensitivity, and our trailers contain no strobe.
All in-game text is English for now. Translations are planned for later, so the Steam release can ship in more languages.
Yes, in specific places, and we say so plainly. Code was written with Claude and GPT Codex. The 3D models are generated by our own Blender scripts. Concept images on this site were made with AI and are labelled; they are not in the game. Jam music and effects are synthesised by our own code, with no AI music model. Design, story, decisions and testing are the team's.
There is no date yet. The next public step is a demo of Act 1, and the date will be announced on the devlog first.
